You can purchase support which gives you a toll free phone number for questions and software upgrades for one year.
A hosted application means that you pay a monthly fee to RCO for maintaining the servers that run the software application. The advantage of this is that you always have the latest software, you get automatic data backup and don't need the payroll expense of a full time computer engineer. If you already have an extensive network setup and full time computer staff on payroll and want the security of running everything within your own network then you can buy a non-hosted product.
